From The Pastor:

It is with much joy that I and the other brothers and sisters here at Christ UMC invite you to join our family of faith.  We are a family, being brothers and sisters in the Lord.

 

As a United Methodist congregation we serve the Lord in a larger connection of other United Methodist churches.  Being United Methodist we believe the Bible to be true, as is understood in our Wesleyan tradition.  Many of our families come from other church traditions and denominations, but we are all part of that one true church--the Church of Jesus Christ.

I want to encourage you in your walk with the Lord in what I call the "4 Gs":

    Grace:  God saved you by His grace, through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.  We receive God's gift by personally trusting Him and what He has done for us.

   Growth:  I encourage you to have a regular daily quiet time of prayer and study of God's

word.  Your life is the outcome of your prayer life.

    Groups:  I encourage you get involved in Bible studies, Sunday School classes, or other groups that meet on a regular basis.  You and I cannot grow alone.

    Good stewardship:  We come to Christ's church not to take, but to give.  We believe good stewardship involves finances, but also our abilities and personal time commitment to God's work in missions.
